Meet the Japanese Snow Fairy Bird "Shima Enaga Bird" 2026

These are the cutest birds!

I used to love the band Chicago, I saw they were playing at The White House lawn party. So disappointed. My husband turned it on briefly changing channels.

Today was a hard day. Our sweet boy Zeus was having problems with his teeth. We got him on antibiotics. Talked about removing teeth. But the vet said he might not make it through surgery. He had lost a lot of weight. They never did bloodwork, & he was rapidly losing weight. So today we made the decision to let him go. It was very emotional. Rest easy Zeus. We will miss him. 💔🌈

I don't ever think I've seen a more stupid man in charge of this country.

No Kings Day politics

Who on here edits #Wikipedia and wants to make a page for #Blacksky ?

Wikipedia as we know has a well-known racial bias, & based on a conversation here I was thinking it might help some of the #protocol convo's if info about Blacksky were available there
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racial_bias_on_Wikipedia

EDIT: there's a DRAFT up now, can anyone post it? Needs one more line about how Blacksky is a Black-led community for Black sociality online, or something. Cite: https://nonprofitquarterly.org/building-blacksky/

Yesterday I received one of the nicest emails ever from a student:

“Over the past year, my understanding of “art” has been completely deconstructed and rebuilt.

I used to believe that art was a privilege reserved for the naturally gifted.

Now, I’ve come to see it as a form of deep engagement with life — a continuous process of questioning both the inner self and the external world.”

He's fucking delusional. Every person I have talked to who's planning to retire is worried. So are the ones I know that are already retired.
