PAROLE BOARD MEMBER: Okay. All right. So then you received a life sentence. Age 19, you received a sentence to die in prison. What were your thoughts then?
MURDERER: I felt remorse. I didn't -- I thought I was going to die, and then I had to -- I had to live with what I did.
And this, children, is why the "death penalty" is utter bullshit.

I would like to know why Baby Cat does NOT feel the need to make biscuits on my naked skin after her nails are trimmed but insists that she be able to do so when they are at their sharpest.

"By moving to hold Leon Black in contempt, Chairman Comer is sending a clear message that wealth and influence do not put anyone beyond the reach of congressional oversight," the survivors said.
Well, we'll see. Donald Trump has not come under scrutiny by Congress about what he was getting up to with his close friend #JeffreyEpstein, and I'm not holding my breath that he ever will.
omg. I forgot - IT'S BABY CAT'S BIRTHDAY!
It's a pretend birthday, because a neighbor of mine found her alone on the street in Mesa Arizona on September 21, 2021 and thought "I know who needs a kitten!"
Baby Cat was so young that I had to rapidly teach myself how to stimulate her to pee and poop. I couldn't get her to feed from a nipple but she was able to lap up kitten formula on her own.
I consider myself lucky that the #CatDistributionSystem picked me that day.
"Starting in the 1970s, right-wing politicians pushed through large reductions in effective tax rates on the wealthy. And in the 2010s, Republican-controlled congresses stripped the IRS of resources to enforce the tax code. These two changes set the stage for the reemergence of immense fortunes, with vast social and political consequences."

"In 1853 a government inquiry into the sly-grog industry heard that the grog was produced from cheap liquor with additives such as tobacco and pharmaceutical spirits. One cocktail, fittingly called 'Blow my head off', was found to contain Cocculus indicus (poisonous Indian berries), spirits of wine, Turkey opium, Cayenne Pepper, rum and water. Many a gold digger was killed by the bad liquor."

"While shallow-water sea sponges live 10 to 50 years, deep sea and polar sponges can survive for thousands of years, with estimated age of one polar giant glass sponge ranging from 15,000 to 23,000 years old, making it easily one of the oldest species on earth."

"Research shows that washing fruits and vegetables in vinegar can be helpful. Vinegar won’t kill the parasite but can help remove it. Noel recommends submerging produce in a bowl filled with three parts water and one part vinegar and swishing it around for a few minutes. Using a salad spinner to rinse with water can help get rid of the vinegary taste."

I wonder if planting a lot of catnip where there are a lot of mosquitos - like your back yard - would reduce the number of mosquitos. It would certainly bring a lot of cats to your yard. I was warned against planting it when I had a yard in a city with a large feral cat population.
"Dr Simon Scofield, a senior lecturer at Cardiff University, said: “We found that a 6% catnip oil was just as effective [at repelling mosquitos] as Deet, and the 2% catnip oil was only marginally less effective than that."
