I might post something on my blog or I might not.

But all the people hating PHP seems to really *really* not understand why it took off and "won" over Pearl and others.

PHP has similar qualities that Excel has: extremely fast feedback, easy to use and achieve things, and easy to deploy to share.

Until someone creates a PL that has those qualities its going to keep getting used.

Also a by default shared nothing architecture is extremely useful for 90% of cases.
