In case I pop a vein in my head tonight: I love you all

Good evening to everyone but especially Chantz Rivera.

The same woman who used to bless me down to shavings when I exited a room without turning the light off is now perfectly content to leave the TV blaring when she gets up to walk the dog.

I was walking up to the grocery store with my husband when a wildlife rehab truck pulled into a driveway a couple houses ahead of us. I thought I saw something in the cab of the truck so when we got to that driveway I told my husband hold on a second.

I waited for the man to get out of his truck and then I asked him "Sir is that an owl in your vehicle?"

"Yeah!" he said. "Come say hey."

And that's how I met this handsome young man, Odin the Owl.

'When the family first priced the project, it was expected to save about $30,000 a year... By the time it was finished, PG&E rate increases had pushed the estimated savings to about $80,000 a year.'

Okay apparently it WAS real https://www.wral.com/news/local/state-senate-candidate-custody-after-hours-long-standoff-cary-police-october-2026/

I don't know if this is real or not. I DO know he was supposed to be holed up in the woods near Waverly Place. My husband and I were at that Wal-Mart and there were a number of choppers buzzing around though we didn't see any cops.

I'm sorry this is so late. My mother just got back from a couple days in the hospital and we're getting at the physical therapy stuff set up....

She has six staples in the top of her head and I have to make sure not to look because I get squicked out 😂

You may have noticed I haven't mentioned smoothies or my mother in the last couple of days. That's because she fell on Sunday morning and busted her head open good fashion. She just got home after two days in the hospital.

After her husband took her to the hospital Sunday I treated her bed linens and clothes and washed them in cold water because you know how head wounds bleed. Pretty much got everything out.

Mentally I'm in a really bad place. But what else is new.

I wish I had someone to play with. ☹️

I used to have nightmares that my GED "didn't count" anymore and I had to go back to high school

Research like this is why I get so tired of white people saying they're not racist and all the evidence is they don''t say the N word.

Check your Palmolive, Madge, because depending on where you live you might have been soaking in it!

I mean, do I really think I grew up in 1970s North Carolina without getting some slime up in my head? And it's my responsibility to get it out.

I know it's frowned upon to find humor in your own writing but every now and again I'll look back at some things I wrote over a decade ago and go "Yeah that was actually pretty funny"
