Calling yourself "patriots" while suppressing 1A rights and calling your fellow countrymen "degenerates"...that's not patriotism. The #SCOTUS has ALWAYS ruled political rallies are free range for protest. They're political rallies. And if you have redneck bikers roughing people up for that...then what is that? #Fascism #trump

The new #MacBook touch....is so lovely. That is a very nice machine. And SwiftUI is touch first, so it will be interesting to see what sort of things come up. #apple

So #albania I'm hearing...there are drugs. Like Texas. It's anti-GLBT...like Texas. There's garbage...like Texas. But it's cheap...not like Texas. And it is beautiful...also not like Texas. I'm hearing more minor annoyances and more pros. We're going to put it on the random spinny "Wheel o' escape board of fun" #europe

PT. 2 #albania has a VERY low cost of living. Is new entrepreneur #digitalnomad friendly, visa free for a year, lovely beaches, cheap coffee. And would cost me HALF to just go there versus Minnesota. So...thoughts? #europe

I run a business. And everything I do is based on ethics. Mostly Nordic and European #ethics that say capital punishment is wrong. And I cannot imagine being someone who not only comdones barbarism, but funds it too. I really can’t. I’d rather be poor and ethical, than rich and barbaric. And that goes into everything I do. #news #business https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2026/10/hasan-hegseth-firing-squad-livestream-execution-palantir-anduril-luckey/

This is TERRIBLE! I've had Hepatitis A, which is almost like B, and....you want to die. If diarrhea and puke can come out of it, it's coming out. You puke and shit through every hole in your body for days on end. And you are in just so much pain. I survived it organically, which is rare in children, but...immortal. If I didn't have it, I'd get the vaccine for absolute sure. It's fucking awful!! #health #vaccines https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/cdc-controversial-hepatitis-b-vaccine-study-1235637894/

I really think this sort of stuff is unfair. #religion in #norway is a very private thing. I mean you can say "I'm Lutheran", which many Norwegians are, and that's okay. I say I'm pagan, and that's okay. What's not okay, is expecting others to bend to your religious views. And most of the world is like that. Nobody wants to hear about Jesus, or why you should bend your knee to "Him". Anymore than people want to hear about Odin. That is private. #religion https://www.newyorker.com/culture/the-current-cinema/fjord-keeps-the-faith

Really don't want to hear about "ratings" from a dude with a 27% approval rating... #trump

I really need to start a blog called " The Poor #pagan ", but this weeks find...I'm going to #jewish hell. As a pagan, you blow through candles like a pyromanic Catholic, and the dollar store candles are _okay_, but the grocery store had .99 kosher candles, so obviously of better quality. And it's Friday, and I enjoy doing a Heathen ritual called Symbel, which is ritualistic drinking in Thanksgiving for the week. So long lasting candles are good, so I thought I'd give them a try. See, this is why you always LOOK at what an #llm gives you, and why #vibecoding is BAD! Bad bad! Notice anything odd abut this? I'm setting up home-manage on my Mac, but I've only done that on #nixos so I used gemini to get a reference example, and lo...it wants me to get nix-darwin from a random GitHub repo that is just a fork of the official nix-darwin repo. So no telling what bad things are in that fork, because it's not mine. So we won't be doing that. #infosec #coding

I'm not afraid of #ai honestly. Why? I'm 6000% SMARTER than those pieces of shit, and mine, and your brains can do the SAME thing...with 100 watts of power. How? Because of knowledge gaps. We don't need to know EVERYTHING to know how something works. Because we ask "why"? "why" let's us form logical conclusions to things without too much information. "why?" is what fills in those gaps. Our brains don't need to hold as much because of this. #tech #neuroscience https://www.noemamag.com/why-is-everyone-in-tech-so-sad/

Ugh. A dude on Scruff messaged me, and my cold, one word Norwegian-esque responses are not deterring him. He's an "ethereum investor". Bro, nobody legitimately "invests" in #crypto. I mean, I play the ponies. It's kinda fun. But saying you're an "investor" of crypto is like saying you're a chronic gambler and/or a scammer.

Has #monsterdon started? What are we watching?

An #inpeachment isn't punitive per se. It's a historical mark in the public record, although it has been used puntitively. The Constitution _technically_ allows for an appeal of any legal proceeding, including impeachment, but the case would have to be revisited again, and a second time they could easily say "You're not only impeached, you're also removed from office" It's very risky to poke the dog this way, esp. for a president on the verge of being lame. #news https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/jun/12/trump-congress-expunge-impeachments

I do not understand why #conservatives equate patriotism with the 1950s. Nanny says the 1950s were incredibly repressive. It was the American Dark Ages. The government was very corrupt at all levels, and in some places ran by the Klan or the mob. McCarhyism, and everything was censored. But my great grandparents owned a bar, and she was raised there. So she was "scum". She says it was so terrible. #trump

We need to rename it "The Strait of Schrodinger" We really do. #news https://www.theguardian.com/world/live/2026/may/24/iran-deal-strait-of-hormuz-trump-middle-east-crisis-live

I.....it gets so exhausting feeling like I'm the only intelligent person in the room. I know I'm not. Lots of very smart #fediverse people! Who realize that that's....not how Daylight Savings time works. Because we have brains. And I'm pagan. Yule is the darkest day of the year. You don't "gain sunlight" in the winter. You loose it. You gain it during Midsummer. "We are going with the far more popular alternative, Saving Daylight, which gives you a longer, brighter Day". *sigh* #trump

Eww gross. What is up with the incredibly choreographed propaganda videos of #trump in #china ? After how racist he is towards Chinese people....I'd make him walk along a path of dog shit in his cheap ass Dillard's shoes. https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/116568905013516663

This makes me sad, and why I can't go home, as much as I want to. #MAGA has wrapped its talons around the state. #abortion in #wyoming has always been this sort of "it' ain't our business" thing. It's not legal, but it's not illegal. Our legal code is actually VERY VERY small, and it has grown substantially since this whole MAGA bullshit. They legislate all sorts of shit, as fascists do. #news https://www.npr.org/2026/05/05/nx-s1-5810606/wyoming-lawmakers-use-pro-natalist-arguments-to-justify-proposed-new-partial-abortion-ban

My grandmother is taking a nap. So I get an “ahhh” moment. I wouldn’t trade this for anything, but it is NOT easy! Constantly have to keep an ear out, and I’ve only got one. And my nose in case she leaves something on the stove. Thankfully with PTSD, I’m so hyper aware of my environment as it is, so thats easy. But they’re adults, and have to be treated that way, even if they can act like children. You go with the flow. We’re all heading to the same place eventually #old #elderly
