Who’s going to be first to tell off smug Mac/Linux users?

None of my Mac or Linux machines are down.

Very likely I’ll move my instance over to GotoSocial, it’s a lightweight Fedi client.

Turns out Mastodon includes a bunch of stuff I don’t really need (nor understand). The aim is to have as fast and secure server I can manage from a cheap second hand PC.

I think I’ve finally worked out just what on the internet I actually want/need.

Apologies if this memes getting a few friend requests, things should settle down in the next week or so.

Taking a day off breaking the internet as I appear to be getting married today.

Off to the registry office at 10am to involve myself in some legal business with the other half…

lol it’s such a sham!

So Corbyn won more votes in 2017 than Starmer today, yet Starmer is this ‘big win’ and Corbyn goes down in history as some sort of bogeyman.

Damn, I knew my website was really cool as I used to get about 10 emails a day from people who had found my website.

Now I must be getting 30+ emails from people who have found my website.

Weirdly, all these people say they can make my website more visible. Given that I’m already getting so many emails, unfortunately the response is entirely negative.

Can’t they find someone else’s website?!

They clearly just grabbed Foden off a table football pitch.

Good morning, may you cross paths with the sardine of good fortune this fine day.

A morning donk.

So if I understand this right..

The chmod xxl at the dfs wangle has 64 arms which ls with the grep doing a total wangledang of the xxlp directory.

At least I've figured out how to swap control and command keys!

First post on Asahi. Everything hurts my brain \so far, it's a Fedora thingy so not like Debian.

Ouch.

Still hits as hard as ever!

Bust my laptop screen because I’m a fucking bellrnd…

Thinking positive…

The laptop still works when plugged into a monitor. I could use that as a dedicated studio computer.

I create a Linux partition on the ‘new’ second hand machine and run Asahi.

That gets me back to my original sort of plan of switching from Mac to 100% Linux but with Mac fall back.

I really am my own worst enemy.

Has anyone tried a dual boot with Asahi?

Obviously if you want to get the best from a vintage U67 microphone you need to play everything through a megaphone for that rich warm sound.

It's 2nd generation though as it cuts out before The Cash Crew comes on... Ah well, can't have everything.
