I'll be going live in a few moments to continuing repairing a Macintosh TV analog board. This likely won't be a super long stream, but just want to try and catch up on some stuff.

Go do your thing America! 🇺🇸

Connecting any camera to an Apple II can be annoying, as most cameras come with a DB-9F or Mini-DIN-8 cable (PC or Mac flavours), and the 8-bits Apple II line uses either DIN-5 or DB-25 connectors.

Building your own adapter is rather easy and all are documented at https://www.colino.net/wordpress/quicktake-for-apple-ii/#cabling-instructions

Otherwise I have hardware solutions on my web shop at https://www.colino.net/wordpress/product-category/apple-ii-hardware/serial/

Happy Halloween! 🎃👻

(I’m a data center, very spooky)

I just came across some MacWorks Plus disks for the Lisa 2 / Macintosh XL from Sun Remarketing.... now that's something you don't see everyday! 🍎

Sorry I’ve been quiet, our smallest family member Pippin wasn’t feeling well and had to spend some time at the emergency vet.

He’s slowwwwllyy getting back to normal but, he has his ups and downs… 🤞

Here’s hoping he gets back to 100% soon!

Everyone is at fancy #apple product launches today, and I’m just here duct taping Newtons together like some kind of caveman.

I am now concerned that I might be missing market share by not offering a #Apple Duo model with larger screens.

Let's recap the remainder of my Pioneer Mac Clone!

LIVE in 10 min!

I have a rare Pioneer PowerPC Mac Clone, but sadly the power supply gave up the ghost. ⚡👻 Let's see if I can fix it... 🤞😩

Fully ready to make some EXTREME 90’s graphics! 🎨

Formlabs sent me a Form Studio 1 resin printer to test. It's $699 (compared to Form 4, it's almost 4x cheaper!), and it prints well.

But I also talked to their engineers a bit about value engineering, and why they dropped the Raspberry Pi in this model: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4l9xU3_36Xs

Let's take a look at this Power Computing Mac CLONE with a... G3 upgrade inside?? 😮 Join the LIVE stream starting in 15 min!

⚠️BitBang.social maintenance is now complete! 🚧

Thank you for your patience. We'll try our best to announce future updates as we move forward, etc. 👍

A good friend of mine just posted a YouTube video breaking down all the discrepancies with the pod race from Star Wars Episode I. It's a fantastic deep dive with cited research, exploring multiple books and interviews on the topic. He even includes a custom made Blender recreation, all done without so-called "AI".

This is his first video on the channel, and if you're a fan of human made overthinking, you might want to subscribe.

⚠️ Planned BitBang.social Upgrade Downtime Today (Oct. 6th)! 🚧

At approximately 12:00pm Eastern (4:00pm UTC), BitBang.social will be briefly unavailable while systems are restarted.

This will likely result in two 10-15 minute periods of unavailability.

Please share this post for visibility. Thank you for your patience and understanding! 👍

LIVE TONIGHT 7PM EDT: Look at all these #filmstrip donations! Join me and Mrs. Ephemera as we open them tonight on YouTube and Twitch. Then I'll start getting them digitized and uploaded to the @internetarchive. Please share this and join us tonight!
