The main characters are all literally college freshman in their first semester. Like, do you expect them to act like Picard and McCoy? That would be so much weirder. Remember that episode of TNG where Picard gets Q'd back in time to when he was a cadet? Imagine a whole university of grandpas pretending to be teenagers. Yeah.

Spaces I used to look to for criticism / discussion on the actions and misdeeds of nations and their governments have lately started to reliably contain attacks on ethic and religious groups mixed in. And dogpiles of trolls in agreement.
My wife's on some standalone forums for theological discussions and they've basically had to go on lockdown to manage the raids of sedevacantist spam and promotions of sectarian violence.
That's a lot to say, someone is flooding ALL the lanes with shit. This feels coordinated.
