Ah. Hmm.

The christian "left" is embodied by an insecure boy candidate who turned tail and ditched trans people the moment the GOP opposition started criticizing and making fun of him? THAT James Talarico? A person who abandons marginalized people when he's worried that his personal image has been sullied by showing support for them in the past?

OK, so I guess we should picture Jesus as a coward who runs when they're challenged?

This is why I don't trust christian "progressives." You're weak.

As a 50 year old woman, I'm regularly asked if I have children and even grandchildren, and I generally can't or don't explain why.

It's really great being told to VOTE! from hundreds of spoofed phone numbers.

I've got my phone on "do not disturb" because I've already gotten 12 spam political texts today.

Seriously, was LibreOffice designed to be intentionally annoying?

On Thursday, Elon Musk said saving money for the future is pointless because superintelligent AI will bring abundance.

Today, he’s explaining that Grok Bot’s superintelligent AI was too expensive to operate relative to revenue.

Apparently AI abundance couldn’t even make it through the weekend.

"For god's sake, how do you stop it?!"

Always important to sneak that in.

Mainstream Democrats always think there's a Republican who would be better at the job than them.

"Vote for the lesser evil. It's better than the alternative."

You are the lesser evil. You're the lesser evil that we've gritted our teeth around and chosen our words with care around because we know your personal acceptance of us rides on a fulcrum of not pushing you TOO hard. There are things we don't say to the lesser evils we know personally. We know the solidity of your "being there for us" is ephemeral.

Your daily affirmation:
You get to decide what success looks like to you. Maybe it looks like hiding in a pillow fort with books and tea and avoiding the news of the world.

It's time for another edition of Fascists vs. Aristocrats! No matter who wins, we lose! Will the fascists cheat their way to a theocratic victory? Will the aristocrats reaffirm the supremacy of capital? Does it matter! Who knows!

Oh, hey, we're doing this again.

"Defensive strikes." GTFO.

I love how the auto destruct process is never portrayed the same way twice from Star Trek: TNG on. Eventually, you can just yell at the computer from wherever you are. One of these days there will be a slider on the bridge anyone can use labeled "swipe left to destroy ship."

Sometimes I'm like:

"I don't think I'll last another 10 years." 😩

And other times it's:

"I don't think I'll last another 10 years." 😏

The fact that so many people are in debt, totally exhausted and living in daily anxiety about paying the bills is not a case of Neoliberalism not working. Quite the opposite.

It is the system working correctly,, as if people are in such a state, they won't have time/energy to challenge and change it all.

I am so fucking tired of spam political texts.
