@Alice Found a friend for you at World Market. Evidently you put him in the microwave?

Dear Logitech—

If you sell a #LeftHanded mouse...

Don't make me have to search through settings to "swap” the mouse buttons! Obviously, the default setting should be that the right mouse button is the primary!

#SilentSunday on the #pdx MAX line (Washington Park station)

Amazing #hike this morning— the mist was still out, and everything had an otherworldly feel.

WHAT. THE. FUCK, Denver?

Ugh, why is Boing Boing doing Gen AI for their article art?

I honestly think I'm going to have to take them out of my RSS feed.

So yeah, this is weird-- no AT&T cell service at home, had it for a little while on the drive to work in #CambridgeMA, but once I crossed into Belmont, it was gone, just have the SOS.

#ATTOutage

I almost never take selfies, but I’m glad I did this morning, what a perfect pre-sunrise view.

#DeerIsland is a really tremendous place to watch a #sunrise!

@caseyliss OMG, I'm loving Callsheet! It's like you forget how good an app like this can be!

Question-- it wasn't clear from https://www.caseyliss.com/2023/8/7/callsheet, but how does subscription work with iCloud families? I'd like to get my whole family to use it, but do they each need their own subscription?

Thank you, @hotdogsladies for reminding me of one of my favorite songs that I didn't even know was a cover! (https://youtu.be/JEFjF4zwp9I)

Now that I've heard them both, I definitely still favor the Game Theory version, but that's to be expected...

Is there a #fediverse version of #Letterboxd, in the same way that #Bookwyrm is sorta like #Goodreads?

Talk about a "never too old to learn new tricks moment..."

I've been using Git for almost 10 years (before that, I was a SVN user). I've been using Git submodules for probably 8 of those years.

Today, YES, *TODAY*, I learned that submodules can specify a branch, which is a huge improvement to our workflow. Not only does it help show the intention of the submodule (is this associated with a maintenance or feature branch?), but also easier to commit changes to submodule.

i feel like my brain needs some new hold music— right now, it is just playing “Galileo” by Indigo Girls and “Roam” by The B-52’s. Come on brain, get some new music stuck in your head!
