I'm wanting to show/see svg graphics in eww
(image-type-available-p 'svg) returns t
eww, works, but svg images are not shown, though eww does not complain about them and other image types *are* shown as expected
to be a bit more specific, I want to show svg graphics created and served by the httpgd #rstats package
I am able to connect to the server and view graphics using firefox, so the httpgd service itself works
I'm running emacs 28.2 on linux mint
What am I missing?

TBH, whenever I have issues running old #rstats scripts, it is nearly always one #tidyverse package or another that is responsible for the breaking change(s)
It's been that way for more than a decade now
My thinking, at the time, was "if this #rstats thing doesn't work out, most of what I learn in the attempt will certainly translate to S-Plus..."
