LMAO

On BART - two bros next to me talking about their tech job resumes.

For every tech person who gushed about how cool the robot dogs were when they were first revealed. Their potential for dystopian misuse was so obvious and now here we are.

People really seem to love pronouncing things dead. Design. Front-end. Now, apparently CLIs.

Not only is it sensationalistic, it shows a thorough lack of understanding of these disciplines and technologies.

It’s a take heavily used in “AI” narratives because it helps devalue the subject, claiming it’s easily LLM-replaceable, when it isn’t.

SEA -> SFO

Seattle Link really doesn’t need the “Downtown” suffix on “Federal Way”. It’s just confusing.

Honestly as an elected official, this is such a low bar illustration of one's principles and willingness to live them, even if it's a bit inconvenient.

Ballot complete!

The WA supreme court election really seems ideological this year. Lots of extremists on the ballot. Definitely vote for Melody, Hawk, Birk, Angelis, and Stephens.

WA Supreme Court Justice Position 1: Colleen Melody. She's argued and won some really good and important cases, while here opponent appears to be a pile of third-hand Ayn Rand books.

Metro King County Council District No. 2 is going to Saldaña. My other literal neighbor Toshiko Hasegawa ALSO has an incredibly good dog, but she also drives a Tesla, so, no vote for you. Sorry!

King County Assessor vote is going to Rob Foxcurran's mustache.

And voting for my literal neighbor Kelabe Tewolde – he's got a very nice dog and also he's cool.

Voting for Tatiana over Chipalo cause Chipalo is an AI Program Manager at Microsoft and that is just gross.

Voting "NO" so hard on the creepy fascist initiatives that my neighbors can probably hear me.

Holding my nose and voting for Adam Smith. Someone really needs to destroy him in a Primary election – just an incredible douche bag of a centrist.

#seattle people: what are we using? Progressive Voter Guide? Left Cheat Sheet? Something else?

#wapol #seapol

Idiot’s Guide to Voting in a Primary Election: Vote in every primary election. Vote for the most left-wing people on the ballot.

Idiot’s Guide to Voting in a General Election: Vote in every general election. Vote for the most left-wing people on the ballot.

I'm happy to announce my next release: Stunt Car Racer ported to the NES. Yes, a real 3D game that works on both NTSC and PAL consoles! This is also one of those rare retro releases nowadays that includes zero generative AI content, meaning both code and art.

A technical write-up will happen later, but I really need a little break first. 😂

Just looked at bsky for the first time in a while and it’s so stressful over there.
