Por fin he sacado tiempo para abrir mi instancia de Panoramax a contribuciones externas. Si te interesa el proyecto (una alternativa libre a Google Street View), puedes echarle un ojo, crearte una cuenta, y empezar a contribuir imágenes.
I love it when I arrive at a street without a single store in OpenStreetMap, and leave it completely mapped.
Some months ago, I saw a post here in Mastodon about a developer who had quit AI in their job. I found it very inspiring. Here is mine.
Not without shame, I admit that for a long time I used AI at work, even though I had banned it from my personal life. Now, what I believe and what I do are aligned again.
If you're a developer, please read it. There is life after being an AI shepherd.

@fdroidorg how come this app is not flagged with anti-features? Sure, it can connect to your own ollama server, but it does depend on proprietary network services for all other providers.

Any clues? Thanks!
I had my first Panoramax walk this morning and it was a great experience. I took 1900+ 360-degree pictures.
There is no public instance for my country, and I don't have the resources to host a country-wide server. I will probably start by setting a single-user instance in my homelab, gain experience, and then maybe consider setting a bigger instance. In a federated environment, I'm also not sure if big instances are a good idea anyway.
