10/25/2026"Despite massive investments & widespread hype around #ArtificialIntelligence, the technology has delivered zero financial payoff to corporate America outside of tech...
there are still no signs of AI boosting productivity growth... With no impact on the bottom line, mainstream corporate America is pulling back & starting to view token spending not as a source of growth but as a cost center that weighs on margins."

The most eye-catching of the new revelations involves bestiality. One of the charges involves Tate possessing an image of “a person performing an act of intercourse with a live animal, namely an eel.” Another makes a similar claim about an image involving a horse.
But the most serious new allegations relate to Andrew Tate’s alleged work to get a 17-year-old girl to produce pornography.
According to the documents, Tate taught the girl to film herself as she took an extreme action to her genitals. He did so because a man was willing to pay him $1,000 a day for videos of the act. In a text message, Tate allegedly said he “told her she had to do it.”
Both brothers face rape charges, with Andrew often accused of choking women to the point of unconsciousness as he raped them. In one account in the new files, a woman regains consciousness only because Tate is crying on her:

Andrew Tates’ [sic] tears were splashing on her face, and he was crying, saying, “I love you ... that’s why I am raping you because I love you.” She remembers thinking that he was a psychopath and that she had let a serial killer in her house.

But just because privacy doesn't fit well into a property rights framework, it doesn't follow that there's no way to do privacy well. We have lots of other rights frameworks besides property, and it's taken the concerted work of generations to get us to forget that these rights exist at all.
Imagine if our privacy regime was modeled on the human rights system we rely on when it comes to sex, bodily autonomy and consent. In this framework, no one is allowed to do anything to you unless you give your continuous, informed consent, which you can withdraw at any time. "I changed my mind" is a perfectly valid thing to say in the middle of a sexual encounter. It's not a violation of your contract. Quite the opposite: someone who ignores your withdrawal of consent is guilty of criminal assault.
[Begin highlight] If we apply a consent regime (not a property regime) to privacy rights, then the entire commercial surveillance industry would cease to exist. [End highlight] There's no way you can give "informed consent" to a laundry-list of terms of service that are as impenetrable as they are lengthy, and even if you did, you could withdraw that consent at any time, and Facebook et al would have to immediately stop processing your private information and disgorge it.](https://assets.newsie.social/media_attachments/files/117/353/787/596/257/683/original/9c5fffc1bd5ef5dd.png)
