I'm perfectly capable of hating multiple politicians/political parties & being not loyal to a single one. I am not a member of any political party. Have ongoing distrust of governments in general. Identify as an anarchist with socialist values. Not a single political party is truly anti-ableist. All of them are ableists on varying degrees of ableism. All of them currently enable eugenics policies, whether they admit that or not. All of them ignore disabled voters & our concerns, pretty equally. I am not & never been a singe issue voter either.

Woke up, still super pissed off about BC snap election results. Still cussing Eby for screwing over BCers before quitting as leader. Eby should have been ousted as leader earlier or should have learned to work better with BC Green party for better government. His arrogance & BC NDP caucus cowardice led him to a massive self owned loss. A piss poor political decision that handed the Conservatives a majority BC government.
Less than 50% of registered voters showed up to vote. My riding flipped to Conservatives. Saanich South now has a Conservative Mayor & MLA. Rishi Sharma ran as a Liberal in past federal election but had since changed to Conservative.
Many provincial ridings flipped to Conservatives 😣 I'm in political mourning.
LD may be more progressive than the MapleMAGAs he's surrounded by but he's still a BC Conservative - we know full well it's a party full of bigots. Don't even try tell us that they're not bigots when several of us POC & several of us disabled/otherwise marginalized folks in BC have multiple personal experiences with Conservatives bigotry & their hateful politics 😡 Don't tell us to be happy that people who want us deported/dead/imprisoned are back in power again. We are sad/upset/frustrated/anxious. We remember how cruel BC Liberals were towards marginalized folks & how they had no respect for environment too. We're expecting the worse to come.
It's only a matter of time before the leopards start eating LD's face/they turn on each other/infighting for power starts up again. Conservatives always flip on each other.

It's kinda ironic how some folks keep sending me invites to unsafe private events to try to include me but it serves to remind me how they know full well(from past conversations) that unmasked indoor events automatically exclude me from being able to attend. So it's not inclusionary in reality at all. Things like that comes off more like trying to deal with their own ongoing ableism guilt instead of doing the work to not enable more ableism/unsafe events.
