#biology Trump talked about algae in his last speech. Personally, I think algae is cool. Fairly easy to skim off small ponds & add to your compost pile.

So now the US is striking Iranian oil tankers. I knew we'd have an environmental disaster eventually. 😞

It's been over 95F for days, and my cats persist in pulling open the door to my sunroom so they can get out there to bake their tiny brains, thus wasting my AC. I'm threatening to FedEx them back to Egypt. #cats

@b9AcE It probably doesn't help that we have media backed by Iranian expats claiming that the protestors are clamoring for the return of Reza Shah. Pretty sure they haven't forgotten his family's corruption and torture.

Getting about one romance scammer per day now. I assume they're targetting every account that looks female-ish, since if they looked at my profice pic, it's a 19th century trade card with a gay rainbow border.

I've been trying to recall where I saw Trump's new fave phrase "“Thank you for your attention to this matter." It's finally floated up from my long-term memory! I saw it on a sign
in a laundromat in the early 90s; the owner's admonition not to use dye in washing machines.

I have to wonder if Trump has some beef against Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. In 2022 she was "recognized by the International Hospitality Institute as one of the 100 Most Powerful People in Hospitality."
She'd be well known around Doral.

The Guardian has recreated a searchable climate future risk tool developed by Fema but then deleted.

The point is not to fluff Catholicism, it's to irritate Trump, who is obsessed with ratings. And who knows, Leo might say something anti-fascist.
