I had been meaning to get “The AI Con” for ages, and today I dropped in to my local independent book store (https://shop.benmcnallybooks.com on Queen St E in Toronto) and they had a copy.

I look forward to the next few days reading it, and am grateful to @emilymbender and @alex for writing it.

I bring my teeth a lot when I look at YouTube. From the click baity titles to the stupid expressions on thumbnails. But the thing that annoys me most™️ (not really, but let’s not get into that) is the conflation of “most widely used / searched for” with “most popular”, particularly in regard to programming languages.
