@Mastodon the actual thread used for example (and still issues with quote tweets where post cannot be left blank error message like here where you add the link, then have to figure out that you need to delete it to post it? It’s now a two-step incoherent process.
… The explore option is missing guidelines to be specific in search. And post options like public/public hidden are now in a second location & content warnings are hidden & also require more effort to find & use than before. I find it confusing, less helpful. @Mastodon it was better and more accessible for newbies before.
I hate this new #Mastodon layout. I can’t see what post someone is liking bc it reorders information, prioritizing the link and not the caption. And bc some notifications are indented, it makes you think it’s a reply or related to something above it. Why is it indented at all? And if I click on their like, it does not go to the post that was liked, but to the top of the thread…
Here’s one of the multibillionaire mining players from Australia looking to extract from #Canada without regard to the cost to environment or Indigenous, or all Canadians and our security for that matter for their exclusive power & profit, damn the consequences, and she won’t take no for an answer. Yeah, it’s a woman.
Capitalism is rape culture for profit. Seige Warfare. Abuse of power.
Resistance is fruitful.

It’s not worth the cost. Canadians and Americans need to fight it.
It is not sustainable or what we need to meet climate change.
These bills are deceptive, the jobs minimal, temporary, & destructive, the damage enormous. We need a better vision & plan than hitching our future to backwards models & solutions. Instead, they are ignoring consent to rape the earth & take away resources and rights. https://youtube.com/shorts/f7Ftv8w7o_s

If I were a sports brand, I’d want him in commercials and ads and selling children’s athletic wear immediately.
Not sure if that’s what is best, but I would like to see him not be discouraged to outshine others nor dim his light in any way to accommodate white fragility.
Florida police called to prevent a 3 year old Black boy from being superstar soccer player none of the other kids could catch.
I hope that if this child wants a soccer career or if he just wants to have fun & do his best that he continue to outshine them all.
Give this kid the team captain role. One day they will be buying his merch & tickets to watch him play for top teams.
They hate to have their white supremacy seen as a complete lie.
Just get over it, snowflake.
A domain name & your own website is an expense, but an expense that is worth not forcing people to join and submit to the mindfuck that is Meta, and trapping yourself on it too.
So many organizations have just used Facebook for their entire infrastructure. This is after I left! After I left because it was known to be so corrupt, so willing to do harm, so greedy in its gathering and use of data. Causing deaths. Wars. Sex trafficking.
These organizations have no separate website. Some are charitable orgs. Some are shops.
It’s so incredibly frustrating. They make everyone stuck there for access and vulnerable as a result. They become part of the problem.
Disney is known to be very litigious going after every individual copyright infringement of people doing fan art that never destroyed their brand value, but are silent as we are inundated with AI slop clearly trained on Disney/Pixar and absolutely decimating their brand value.
Now everyone just sees their work and thinks it’s AI slop.
Brilliant karma for a company eager to cut creatives (and all other workers) out and not pay them fair wages.
Saw this in an illustration annual and thought you might find it as cute as I did.

Universities need to refund tuition for every woman or marginalized person with the courage to come forward & is not believed, or if believed…not protected, & give them a scholarship to the university program of their choice to complete whenever.
Prove you believe the women. Put your $ where your mouth is.
Maybe then they’ll do a proper investigation & make the offenders pay. When it costs them. Consequences & justice for all…

Evan Solomon & Carney saying Canada is “doing it right”.
He needs to expand on “doing it right” and what that looks like, bc I call bullshit. He’s not protecting the environment, not safeguarding our water, not ensuring the infrastructure is self sustaining and won’t be taking from Canadians to exist, he’s not protecting our privacy, he’s not protecting Canadians from its toxic radiation & noise, or the job losses & poverty it’s creating. He is seeking short term profit over long term security.
The epitome of profit over people.
AI execs can’t answer questions or are unconcerned about how AI will actually affect Canadians at Canada’s AI summit.
Seeing the large poker expression ALL IN on the stage made me think, they are bluffing, and are going all in to deceive and make us think they have a good hand, but it’s crap and they’ve already lost and all they have is bluff.
A US military was prepared to board a Chinese vessel in Middle East, based on an intelligence report generated by AI which determined it was transporting nuclear weapons components.
It was completely fabricated.
AI will kill us all if we continue to war and compete.
Horrifying news. SOMETHING is suddenly afoot in Europe—apparantly WW3.
If EU & US had Ukraine’s back from the start of Russia’s occupation & war, if US didn’t reneg on its promised support to Ukraine when they got rid of their nuclear weapons…we’d not be here.
Lack of accountability and solidarity got us here.
Also I hate Meidas Touch and its hyperbole, but this seems warranted.
So, seems we are all at war now?
Fuck.
